چکیده
Shake, rattle, and help each other along In classical statistical mechanics, the deterministic dynamics of a many-body system are replaced by probabilistic description. Chvykov et al. work toward similar description for nonequilibrium self-organization collectives active particles. these systems, continuously input energy drives localized fluctuations, but larger-scale ordering can emerge, such as in flight flock birds. A key concept their theory is importance rattling, whereby ordered patterns emerge through local collisions between neighbors at specific frequencies. The authors demonstrate this behavior using set flapping robots produce related simulations robot behavior. Science , issue p. 90

Cooperative self-organization to design robust and adaptive collectives
This paper highlights the benefits of using cooperation as the engine of adaptation and robustness for multiagent systems. Our work is based on the AMAS (Adaptive Multi-Agent System) approach which considers cooperation as a self-organization mechanism to obtain adequate emergent global behaviors for systems coupled with complex and dynamic environments. A multi-robot resource transportation ta...
متن کاملthe search for the self in becketts theatre: waiting for godot and endgame
this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

The structural reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton is facilitated through the action of motor proteins that crosslink the actin filaments and transport them relative to each other. Here, we present a combined experimental-computational study that probes the dynamic evolution of mixtures of actin filaments and clusters of myosin motors. While on small spatial and temporal scales the system ...
متن کاملpassivity in waiting for godot and endgame: a psychoanalytic reading
this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
